 abstract={The paper presents the results of the research verifying the hypothesis on the spatial diversification of endogenous growth in Polish regions between 1999 and 2005. The research encompasses the characteristics of spatial diversification of the region's tendency to develop and the evaluation of impact of the R&D sphere on the regional economic growth. The taxonomic measure of knowledge-based tendency to develop has been used and supply-based models of regional economic growth have been estimated for the panel data. A broad verification has been carried out according to the R software procedures. (original abstract)},
