Structure, model and characteristics of weekend excursions have changed lately. This paper contains results of research that was carried out in Wroclaw. The population living in the agglomeration is the most typical as a source of weekend migration. Inhabitants of Wroclaw went on weekend trip in 2003 in 75 percent; people between 24 and 35 years of age and with the monthly income above 1000 zl per capita the most frequently.
