 abstract={The aim of the article is to present possibilities and barriers of hedging in micro and small corporates. The author explains the theoretical base of hedging with special emphasis on corporate value. The results of one of the conducted surveys proved the impossibility of connecting hedging with corporate value growth in micro and small corporates. The other survey was aimed into practical usage of derivatives. Some commercial banks offers were checked in order to find out barriers for micro and small corporates. It was showed that minimal values of derivatives contracts make it impossible to use for micro and small corporates. },
