Abstrakt:

Ukraine, as a young subject of the world economy, creates ties with other elements of the system of international economic relations. The process of economic and political transition in Ukraine has influenced the intensity, dynamism and directions of its international relations. An attempt has been made in the paper to analyze Ukraine's foreign trade in goods in the 1st decade of the XXI century, including its volume, as well as geographical pattern and commodity pattern of both exports and imports. In addition to that trade coverage ratio and revealed comparative indicator have been used in order to evaluate export competitiveness of Ukrainian goods in the world markets.(original abstract)
