Abstrakt:

This comparative case study explores the concept and operational dynamics of reuse centres in Czechia and Poland, facilities dedicated to extending the life cycle of products through repair, refurbishment, and redistribution. These centres are integral to sustainable waste management and the circular economy, aiming to reduce waste volumes, conserve resources, and decrease reliance on raw material consumption. The study investigates how reuse centres contribute to these goals by examining their operational frameworks, impacts, and integration within local and national waste management strategies. Both countries, driven by distinct policy environments and community engagement levels, have developed unique approaches to implementing these practices.
